Brittney Royer, DNP, CNP, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Royer is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, individualized care to children and adults ages 5 and older. She joined the Family Attachment & Counseling Center in 2025 with a strong commitment to meeting each person where they are in their healing journey and helping them recognize their inherent value and potential.
With a deep belief that mental wellness begins with being truly seen and understood, Dr. Royer partners closely with clients to build confidence, strengthen resilience, and foster hope. She develops individualized treatment plans that consider the whole person—not just the diagnosis—and integrates therapy collaboration, lifestyle guidance, and trauma-informed psychiatric care.
Dr. Royer’s clinical experience includes outpatient medication management and psychotherapy, intensive outpatient programming, and extensive work with individuals with developmental disabilities. Her special interests include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, and a wide range of psychiatric concerns across the lifespan.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Royer is a passionate advocate for mental health care at both the state and national levels. Her diverse educational background gives her a strong systems perspective and equips her to promote meaningful, patient-centered improvements within the mental health field.
She regularly collaborates with therapists, primary care providers, and other members of a client’s care team, believing that coordinated, relational support is key to achieving lasting wellness.
