Dr. Connor Larson, DNP, CNP, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Connor Larson is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a compassionate, collaborative approach to mental health care. Connor takes time to understand each person’s experiences, concerns, and goals, and works with them to develop a treatment plan that fits their needs.
Connor’s nursing experience includes caring for people experiencing mental health concerns in the emergency department and supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. These experiences have shaped a commitment to listening without judgment, recognizing each person’s strengths, and helping clients feel heard and supported. Due to his previous nursing experience, he has developed an interest in seeing patients across the lifespan and with a broad spectrum of potential diagnoses. Connor welcomes clients ages 5 and older and accepts most insurance plans.
Connor believes that effective psychiatric care is grounded in trust and informed by the whole person. Treatment may include medication management, education, and collaboration with therapists, primary care providers, and others involved in a client’s care. Connor’s goal is to help clients better understand their options and take meaningful steps toward improved well-being.
Connor first earned a Bachelor of Nursing at Winona State university and later earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota.
Outside the clinic, Connor enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing and watching soccer (Specifically Barcelona). He generally would prefer to be outside but also enjoys a good book and the occasional video game. As a young parent and husband, Connor also values time with family and the opportunity to experience the world through a child’s eyes.
